Getting Ready for Chuseok: How To Make Songpyeon
Chuseok, Korea’s most important holiday, is right around the corner and people are getting ready to celebrate with their families and honoring their ancestors. To get into the right mood, Jeongsu and I decided to make one of the many traditional Korean snacks for the festival: Songpyeon! If you don’t know how to make songpyeon yet, this video will get you started in under 10 minutes!
What is Songpyeon?
Songpyeon (송편) are half-moon-shaped rice cakes that contain different kinds of sweet fillings. I ordered a songpyeon mix from Gmarket, Korea’s most popular online shop, for only $5. Order it here.
