Luxury Dining in Seoul
We had the elaborate green lunch course menu at FESTA by Mingoo at Banyan Tree
On the one side, you have beautiful views of the lush green garden and terrace, whereas, on the other, you can see the oasis pool or ice rink (depending on the season).
The lunch course menu is quite elaborate with appetizers, delicious breads, salads, a choice of main dishes, and coffee and dessert. At 70,000 KRW per person, this course is surprisingly affordable and ideal for special occasions.
What I loved was the colorful menu and the indication of the place of origin of the dish written next to it.
If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, the staff is super accommodating and the chefs adjust the menu to your preference.
My lunch course menu looked as follows:
- Sicily | Arancini
- Rome | FESTA burrata cheese caprese
- Tofu and sesame endive salad
- Bologna | Seared abalone & white ragout ravioli
- Charcoal grilles 1++ Korean beef with seasonal vegetables
- Today’s dessert (which was tiramisu on that day)
- Choice of coffee (I had a delightful cappuccino)
Indoor Swimming Pool
I love when city hotels feature a large pool – and Banyan Tree
If you visit in the autumn or winter months, you will be able to experience the main indoor pool, as well as a separate adult relaxation pool and two children pools. Swimming lessons and aquaerobics classes are also available for those looking for exercise.
Outdoor Swimming Pool
For those staying at Banyan Tree
In the winter, the outdoor pool area is covered and replaced by a fun ice rink!
