WHAT IS TRAZY?

The fact that it is quite difficult for foreign travelers to find out about unique festivals, events and seasonal destinations around Korea gave the two friends Jahyun and Kristine the inspiration to create Trazy, or Travel Crazy Korea! The platform allows you to book trips to unique destinations in Seoul, Busan, Jeju Island and many other exciting destinations! The convenient shuttle services take you to the event/location and back home!

I also joined a day tour called ‘Seoul Vicinity: Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm’ with Trazy before.

This beautiful and modern ski resort is about 1.5 hours from Seoul and only 30 minutes from the popular Nami Island.

The slopes at the Elysian are great for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there are also a few advanced slopes to go crazy on. Eight of the ten slopes are suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers (2 for beginners, 1 for pre-intermediates, 5 for intermediates, 2 for the advanced). A total of six lifts operate for the ten slopes resulting in very short waiting times and more ski fun for you!

Tip: If you are completely new to skiing or snowboarding, you can even take a lesson with a professional English-speaking instructor at an additional cost.

There are also several restaurants at the Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort. We were pleasantly surprised that the quality of the food was extremely good. All of the dishes on offer, both Korean and Western food options, were super delicious. On our first day, we had a beef burger and a Korean bulgogi rice dish. On the second day, we had Udon noodle soup.

2D1N Ski/Snowboard/Free Time Tour: Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort DETAILS

Growing up in Southern Germany, skiing was an integral part of every winter season. After having moved to South Korea, I missed engaging in this fun winter activity and was pleased to learn about Trazy’s skiing trip selection. The 2-day tour to the Elysian is ideal for those looking to spend as much time on the snow as possible. While there are three tour options, I chose the ‘skiing only’ option. This allowed me to ski for 2 full days from in the morning until the late afternoon. I loved joining this amazing program and am looking forward to booking more tours with Trazy in the future. Join the 2D1N Ski/Snowboard/Free Time Tour at the Elysian in Gangchon now!
